You Have (Requirements):

  • Basic accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance with 60% and above
  • Strong communication skills, analysis skills, critical thinking and a curious mindset
  • Attention to detail and diligence in following up
  • Interest in pursuing a career in a public accounting firm
  • Professional, confident, multi-tasker and expressive
  • Ability to prioritize the tasks assigned to meet tight deadlines
  • Contribute ideas/opinions to the engagement teams
  • Ability to communicate at different levels
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Ability to learn new software tools.
  • Desire to pursue CPA will have an added advantage
  • Desire to pursue CPA (Certified Public Accountant)/ Enrolled Agent (EA)/ CA (Chartered Accountancy) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is an added advantage.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Understand client background, sector, and regulatory environment to support performance of relevant assurance procedures.
  • Support executing procedures under the guidance of a senior.
  • Document clearly and accurately the execution of procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, and planned approach as per the methodology prescribed by the Firm.
  • Understand the US specific requirements.
  • Work with a diverse set of engagement teams across sectors and geographies
  • You will apply critical analysis to data, preparing meticulous workpapers and tax returns in accordance with professional standards for diverse entities and individuals.
  • You will demonstrate proficiency in identifying, researching, and evaluating complex tax issues while providing informative insights to seniors and managers
  • You will possess and consistently update comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including IRS guidelines, court precedents, and other regulatory bodies' requirements
  • You will continuously build and enhance your tax knowledge and skills. This involves participation in training programs, staying up to date with changes in accounting and tax standards, and pursuing relevant certifications such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
  • Support executing procedures under the guidance of a senior.
  • Document clearly and accurately the execution of procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, and planned approach as per the methodology prescribed by the Firm.
  • Understand the U.S.-specific requirements.
  • Accurately identify problems and exceptions and ensure that the local engagement team has been informed in a timely manner.
