Please note: due to the personal nature of the support provided, this role is open to female applicants only (in line with the Equality Act 2010). The successful applicant will be supporting both male and female clients.

Where You'll Work

We're recruiting across three areas in Liverpool, with opportunities for both drivers and walkers depending on the area:

• L11 - Croxteth - driving role
• L12 - Old Swan - walking role
• L7 - walking role

You'll be supporting people in their own homes, helping them to live safely, independently and with dignity.

Pay & Hours

• £13.30 per hour - drivers
• £12.75 per hour - walkers
• Mileage: 50p per mile for drivers & 20p per mile for cyclists
• Full-time and part-time hours available
• Weekend availability required

We offer block pay rather than pay-per-call, meaning you're paid from the start of your first call to the end of your last call within a shift.

What You'll Be Doing

If you have previous experience caring for a family member or friend, you'll make an excellent Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant with Be Caring, you will:

• Support people to achieve their personal outcomes, working alongside families and professionals
• Provide dignified personal care that respects privacy and choice
• Promote independence and confidence using enabling approaches
• Deliver personalised care based on individual needs, choices and preferences
• Communicate clearly, recording and sharing information with the right people at the right time
• Help people stay connected to their community, accessing local services and support

Induction Training

You'll receive comprehensive paid induction training, including:

• Be Caring values and going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes
• Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity
• Confidentiality and professional values
• Fluids, nutrition and safe administration of medication
• Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
• Infection prevention and control, health and safety
• Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health and capacity
