About Casca
Casca is building AGI for banking, replacing decades-old legacy systems with AI-native technology that automates 90% of the manual work in lending, built on responsible, compliant AI practices including human-in-the-loop monitoring. Founded 2023 by banking and machine learning experts from Stanford; backed by Peterson Ventures, Y Combinator, The Sarah Smith Fund and Clocktower Technology Ventures. 45 employees, $33M total funding, SF.
The role

Hiring across levels: Forward Deployed Engineer (roughly 0-3 years) and Senior Forward Deployed Engineer / Tech Lead (roughly 3-5+ years, owning architecture and the most complex parts of a deployment). Roughly 70% building and shipping, 30% embedded with customers.
What you'll do
Embed on-site with bank teams, working alongside underwriters, lenders and operators
Turn your understanding into working software that automates and improves workflows; build on Casca's platform to extend it into new use cases
Deploy AI-powered systems that replace manual processes and iterate quickly on real user feedback in production
Help migrate customers from legacy systems to modern, scalable solutions
Own the lifecycle end to end, from problem definition to deployment, and feed field learnings back into the platform and product direction

Requirements
TypeScript, React and Next.js (must-haves)
Postgres with Prisma, Python and AWS expected to be learned or picked up quickly
3-5 years of experience in full-stack / product / forward deployed engineering building 0 to 1 products (FDE level: roughly 0-3 years with demonstrated ability to ship real software)
