Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately handling transactions. This role requires an individual with strong communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their purchasing needs.
• Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment accurately.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and check transactions efficiently.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer proficiency.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
