Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies for drilling and completions materials, equipment, and services.
- Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
- Lead negotiations and contract management with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with engineering, projects, and operations teams to understand procurement needs and specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage category budget and support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
- Ensure alignment with company procurement policies, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in category management or strategic procurement within the drilling and completions sector.
- Strong knowledge of drilling and completions products, vendors, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the oil and gas industry is preferred.
