About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join a respected health system in Alaska on a three-year contract, working within a collaborative cardiovascular team delivering high-quality imaging and interventional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiography, stent placement, and pacemaker insertions
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment for fluoroscopy and interventional radiology
- Ensure accurate positioning and image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and technologists during complex procedures
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the process
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology (Australia, Canada, or USA for equivalency)
- ARRT certification (or eligibility in progress)
- Minimum 24 months of recent Cath Lab or interventional experience
- English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
- Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
