About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join a respected health system in Alaska on a three-year contract, delivering safe, precise radiation therapy as part of a dedicated oncology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
  • Position patients precisely for treatment delivery, ensuring comfort throughout
  • Operate and monitor linear accelerators and related treatment equipment
  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff
  • Maintain detailed treatment records and monitor patient response to therapy
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy (Australia, Canada, or USA for equivalency)
  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (or eligibility in progress)
  • Minimum 24 months of recent radiation therapy experience
  • English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
  • Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
