Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care. This role is critical in maintaining the well-being of patients in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and trauma centers.

Schedule
Full time- TBD - Weekends Required


Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Help patients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans for patients.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.


Requirements

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Previous experience working with children is a plus.
Familiarity with medical-surgical environments or hospital medicine is beneficial.
Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is advantageous.
Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is desirable.
Ability to work effectively in both inpatient settings and assisted living facilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is required.
