About the Role

Hello, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a COTA for a school-based position in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you’ll provide occupational therapy services, support student goals, complete documentation, and collaborate with school teams to help students succeed. This is a great opportunity for both experienced school-based COTAs and those transitioning into school-based practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide school-based OT services and treatment
  • Support student IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress notes
  • Adapt activities and materials to support student access and participation

What We’re Looking For

  • Active (or eligible) Colorado COTA license
  • CDE Certification or ability to obtain
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • School-based experience preferred, not required
