We are on the hunt for a Chef de Partie for our Main Kitchen—someone who's not just comfortable wearing the chef's hat but thrives in a kitchen buzzing with collaborative spirit between all departments.

What you’ll do

As Chef de Partie in the Main Kitchen of De L'Europe Amsterdam, you are right at the heart of a kitchen that buzzes with energy and collaboration. You prepare dishes with craftsmanship and precision, from mise-en-place to final plating and ensure your section runs smoothly and efficiently at all times. You place orders based on recipes, implement new dishes and translate guest feedback into concrete improvements on the plate. You work closely with the kitchen team, share your knowledge with colleagues and play a key role in the daily kitchen operation. Needless to say, you always work in accordance with HACCP guidelines, quality and safety are never up for debate here.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Nice to have

  • Passion for luxury hospitality

  • Experience in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff

  • Experience working in a fine-dining restaurant or high-end brasserie.
