Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a Chief Engineer in the Woodbridge, VA area. The Chief Engineer must possess strong building operations/systems knowledge and be available for after-hours emergency calls. Hours M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is seeking a Chief Engineer in Woodbridge, VA. The Chief Engineer must possess strong building operations/systems and be available for after-hours emergency calls.

Hours M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Salary $40-$45 based on experience

Responsibilities to include:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on building systems
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety system repairs
• Prepare work schedules
• Maintain records and prepare required reports
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis
• Prepare and issue solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and project tracking software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The Chief Engineer shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Universal CFC
• Demonstrate working knowledge of engineering and building systems
• BAS, cooling towers, WSHP, gas fired hot water boiler and hot water heater, fire alarm systems
• Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required
• Ability to read, review and understand blueprints
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills for detailed reporting
