Chief Process Engineer / Technologist

A major manufacturing enterprise is seeking a qualified Chief Process Engineer / Head of Production specializing in protective films and adhesive tapes for PVC profiles to join our team in ** Navoi, Uzbekistan **.

Tasks

Production Management: Oversee daily manufacturing operations and organize technological processes for producing protective films and adhesive tapes/stickers for PVC profiles.

Equipment Setup & Launch: Calibrate, configure, and operate production machinery across extrusion, adhesive coating, slitting, and printing/branding lines.

Quality Assurance: Control product quality across all stages, ensuring precise adhesion levels, density, tensile strength, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with technical standards.

Formulation & Optimization: Prepare raw materials, calculate polymer recipes, and fine-tune technological parameters.

Cost Optimization: Systematically work on reducing production costs without compromising product quality.

Troubleshooting: Identify defect root causes, quickly resolve line malfunctions, and optimize workflow efficiency.

Documentation & Inventory: Maintain production reporting, technical documentation, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.

Plan Execution: Monitor production targets, output norms, and line efficiency.

Team Leadership: Coordinate line operators and foremen, while maintaining close collaboration with Quality Control (QC).

Final Processing: Supervise proper winding, slitting, packaging, labeling, and transfer of finished goods to the warehouse.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Process Engineer, Technologist, or Production Manager in protective films or polymer extrusion.

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of film extrusion technologies, raw material preparation, adhesive coating, and winding processes.

Track Record: Demonstrated experience in cost reduction and quality enhancement.

Languages: Fluency in English or Russian is required; knowledge of Uzbek and Turkish is a strong plus.

Leadership Skills: Strong team management abilities and experience maintaining operational documentation.
