Compensation: Part-time hourly (1 to 19 hours per week)

Work Hours: As needed depending on the Service and Event Schedule.

Occasional flexibility in scheduling is needed, with some

possible work time around holidays.

Overview of Position


The Childcare Worker position is responsible for providing Childcare support in the Blessing Place buildings. This childcare work provides necessary support to all ministries and the employees of North County Christ the King Church.


Essential Responsibilities


  • To teach children they are loved by God and how to love Him in return
  • To introduce the little ones to Jesus through worship, prayer, praise and Bible teaching
  • To work alongside parents in raising children who love God and love others
  • To provide a safe place where children can be nurtured and grow spiritually
  • To provide consistent love and acceptance for each child
  • Clean and disinfect areas and rooms as directed by the Blessing Place Coordinator
  • Within reason, other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills


  • Possess a personal and growing commitment to Jesus Christ. This includes passionately supporting NCCTK’s mission and statement of beliefs
  • Able to work well with others. Demonstrate ability to handle multiple problems as they occur when working with children and parents. We need people who can resolve conflicts quickly and in a God-pleasing fashion; who will exhibit a positive attitude; who will accept suggestions and correction with grace and patience; and who enjoy working with a team
  • Possess the ability to patiently support leadership, team members and ministries as priorities shift under tight deadlines
  • Professional appearance and demeanor (dress code is business casual to casual)
