Citrix Administration Specialist

The administrator maintains master images, machine catalogs, and delivery groups, including scheduled image updates and testing, and publishes and troubleshoots virtual applications and desktop sessions to resolve launch and session failures. Session performance, profile management, and logon times are tuned to keep the user experience consistent, while gateway, secure access policies, and multi-factor integration are administered for remote and third-party access. The role monitors capacity, licensing, and resource utilization and plans for seasonal or project-driven growth, and applies patches, hotfixes, and version upgrades to Citrix components during scheduled maintenance windows. User and group entitlements to published resources are managed in line with access request and approval processes, and escalations involving application compatibility, printing, and peripheral redirection are investigated through to resolution. The specialist keeps Citrix documentation, runbooks, and recovery procedures current for all platform components, and reports on session usage, performance trends, and platform health to delivery leadership.
