Class 1 Driver & Equipment Operator

The Opportunity

Kolk Farms Ltd. Is seeking an experienced class 1 driver and equipment operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a farm-related role and has experience operating hoe/excavator.

Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

• Hauling silage / manure / straw / grain / equipment
• Operating loader / telehandler / bedding equipment for feedlot maintenance
• Operating hoe and excavator
• Performing general equipment maintenance

Skills:

• Detail-oriented, ability to approach tasks and projects in a detail-oriented manner
• Mechanical and welding skills are considered an asset
• Clean and safe work habits
• Ability to work within a team

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of class 1 driving in a farm related role preferred
• Current Class 1 license with clean drivers abstract

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off, 5 days on, 2 days off
