About this role
LaPrairie Works Oilfields Services is currently recruiting permanent full-time Class 1 Drivers to expand our skilled team of transportation and logistics professionals throughout the Peace Region of Alberta and British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
- Haul various bulk materials in Super B and tridem live bottom configurations on a full-time basis
- Conduct and record pre-operational checks on equipment
- Operate loading and unloading equipment as required
- Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch
- Complete daily driver logs accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean and organized truck
- Ability to navigate work sites, and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work
- Excellent communication skills
Requirements:
- Must hold valid Class 1 license with clean drivers abstract
- Three years or more of bulk commodity hauling on and off highway is preferred
- Availability to work overtime when needed
- Daily Subsistence for “Out of town”- work
- Oilfield experience is a significant asset
