We are currently looking for a Class 5 Container / Skelly Driver to join our Christchurch team based in Bromley. If you enjoy container work, being part of a solid team, and working for a company that values its drivers, we would like to hear from you.

The role

This role involves container transport using skelly units, including port work and customer deliveries around Christchurch and the wider region.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Transporting containers safely and efficiently
• Completing container pick-ups and deliveries
• Following site and port safety requirements
• Maintaining a professional approach with customers
• Ensuring vehicles and equipment are kept clean and well presented
• Reporting maintenance or operational issues when required

What we’re looking for

• Class 5 licence
• Previous container / skelly driving experience preferred
• Experience with port operations advantageous
• Good awareness of safety and compliance requirements
• Comfortable using transport systems and technology
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• A team player with a strong work ethic

Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to complete:

• Criminal conviction check
• Pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing
