The Role

We are busy and therefore we are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Class 4 or 5 Hiab Driver to join our well-established transport team based in Christchurch. This is a full-time role, offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to be part of a supportive and professional team.

What We’re Looking For:

• A current Class 4 or 5 licence plus forklift and operator certificates
• Previous hiab experience is essential
• A commitment to health and safety on the job – with a specific focus on ensuring management of correct set up of the crane on job, exclusion zones, respect of customer requirements while on their sites and best practice loading and unloading practices
• The ability to use technology and adapt to new systems
• Strong attention to detail and a tidy, professional work ethic
• A customer-first attitude – you take pride in delivering great service
• Reliable, punctual, and high-energy, with a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to climb, lift and bend easily
• Willingness to report maintenance needs and keep your vehicle in top condition

• A minimum of 40 hours per week, with consistent, full-time work
• Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday, with some weekend work available.

Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal conviction check
• Must complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
