As the Clay Master at Villa Haven, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our Clay Studio and guiding guests of all ages in the art of pottery and clay craftsmanship. You will inspire creativity, provide expert instruction, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants. This role requires a blend of artistic talent, teaching ability, and customer service skills to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pottery, ceramics, or clay artistry, with proficiency in wheel-throwing, hand-building, and glazing techniques.
• Strong artistic and creative skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring others in the arts.
• Previous experience in teaching or instructing pottery workshops is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Knowledge of pottery materials, kiln operation, and firing processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage studio operations effectively.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
