POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Client Support Coordinator in BDC’s Virtual Business Centre, you will provide high-quality administrative and client support to clients across Canada. BDC is the only bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs, supporting the growth of small and medium-sized businesses across Canada. You will respond to client inquiries, complete administrative activities, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with colleagues in a virtual team environment. Your work contributes directly to the service provided to Canadian businesses.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
- Provide client service to Virtual Business Centre clients by responding to basic inquiries and escalating more complex requests to the appropriate team members.
- Respond to clients promptly and professionally while following established policies, procedures, and processes.
- Complete administrative tasks through a queue management system, including preparing correspondence according to established processes.
- Maintain accurate client information and documentation and complete required follow-ups.
- Prioritize multiple administrative activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment to maintain established service standards.
- Stay current on changes to policies, standardized procedures, and processes.
- Collaborate effectively within a virtual team while completing assigned work independently.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Education: College diploma in Office Administration or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Bilingual communication: Excellent French and English, both written and spoken.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple administrative tasks, maintain accurate information, manage documentation, and complete follow-ups.
- Demonstrated ability to provide client service through active listening and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual team environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changes in policies, procedures, processes, and work activities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, both in-office and virtually.
