Job Description


The Clinical Account Director is responsible for clinical account management of an assigned group of clients (80% 1-5k, 20% 5K+ segment). Account director will review medical claim trend data, providing analytical insight to client organizations. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Identifies opportunities to improve health care affordability through analysis of data and ability to provide answers and recommendations from the data for client consultation.

• Provides consultative subject matter expert information on 360 Health programs.

• Develops and presents reports to the client to demonstrate clinical program value.

• Manages clinical service issues to ensure that performance guarantees are met, and that clinical issues are proactively resolved.

• Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Participates in the process for clinical program implementations.

• Understands the issues specific to the client and applies knowledge, insight and experience into strategic recommendations.

• Understands the business processes that the system supports.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, nursing a plus.

• 5+ years of current clinical/functional area experience (including managed care industry, medical claims trend analysis or health insurance sales/account management); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

• Strong presentation skills with multiple levels of management.

• Ability to analyze data and interpret trending incidents.

• Strong PC skills.

• Two years of account management in a managed care setting with experience in sales, account management, and program development is preferred.
