Clinical Support Specialist (Houston)

Symmetrio is actively recruiting for a Clinical Support Specialist for its client, a growing oncology medical device company.

This role will provide clinical support for scheduled procedures at hospital accounts throughout the Houston market. The Clinical Support Specialist will work closely with surgeons, operating room teams, oncology professionals, and other hospital stakeholders to support procedures, provide product education, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with operating room, procedural, or medical device case coverage experience who enjoys working directly with physicians and clinical teams.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Houston, TX area.

Responsibilites

Provide on-site clinical support for scheduled procedures within assigned hospital accounts.

• Support physicians and operating room teams before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate surgeons, nurses, and other clinical personnel on product use, procedural workflow, and best practices.
• Assist new and existing accounts with case preparation and site readiness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and other clinical stakeholders.
• Serve as a clinical resource for customers and provide guidance related to product use and procedural support.
• Coordinate with internal sales, clinical, operations, and customer support teams to ensure successful case execution.
• Provide post-case follow-up and communicate relevant clinical feedback to internal teams.
• Support product education, in-services, and other training activities for hospital personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to case support and customer activity.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed to support scheduled procedures and customer accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related clinical or life sciences field preferred.
• Previous experience working in an operating room, surgical, procedural, or medical device environment.
• Experience providing case coverage or direct clinical support during procedures preferred.
• Medical device clinical support, nursing, surgical services, or similar field-based healthcare experience preferred.
• Comfortable working directly with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary hospital teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and clinical education skills.
• Ability to learn and communicate technical and clinical information effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple hospital accounts and scheduled procedures.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Experience in neurosurgery, oncology, radiation oncology, or other surgical specialties is a plus, but not required.

Base: $100,000.00 plus bonus incentives
