Cloud Engineer

At Leadout, we don't hire you for what you already know. We hire you for where you can go. As **Cloud Engineer **, you bring solid AWS, Azure or GCP experience and specialise in ** FinOps **, one of the fastest-growing domains in cloud today.

This role is about **depth **. You work in complex enterprise environments, turn cloud usage into clear cost insight, and become the technical backbone of a practice that is still taking shape.

Tasks

• Analyse client cloud environments and turn usage data into clear cost insight
• Build tagging, reporting and showback structures that make spend visible and accountable
• Deliver hands-on optimisation: rightsizing, commitment strategies and eliminating waste
• Evaluate cloud cost tooling and help clients choose what fits their context
• Work directly with client engineering, platform and finance teams
• Help build our playbooks, methodology and knowledge base

Requirements

• Several years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or cloud operations
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP, plus IaC and automation such as Terraform and CI/CD
• You **learn fast and prove it **, certifications welcome
• Interested in the **business side of cloud **: what things cost, and why that matters
• No FinOps experience required. Curiosity about the domain is what counts
• Fluent in English (Dutch or French is a plus)
