What will you do?

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic FinOps Analyst to join our Cloud Governance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial optimization, ensuring cost efficiency, and supporting high-level decision-making processes. You will make a difference leveraging partnerships across the organization to evaluate and improve our FinOps policies and standards guidelines, ensure cost optimization and help to develop controls which will drive financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Collaborate on financial performance monitoring, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Conduct complex cost-benefit analyses and provide actionable recommendations for financial improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for presentations for application owners and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards.
• Lead financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Mentor and guide internal teams in the education and transparency of FinOps.

What do you need to succeed?

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related cloud finance accounting and controls.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, cloud operations, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud financial management and FinOps principles.
• Professional certifications.

Hiring Range:

$103,680.00 USD - $129,600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
