About the team

Bitdeer AI Cloud is building a global-scale cloud networking stack spanning Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN / Transit Router), Cloud Express Connect (dedicated line access), and VPC networking. We are expanding the test team responsible for validating the reliability, correctness, and performance of these interconnect products across multi-region, hybrid-cloud, and large-scale routing scenarios.

What you will be responsible for:

• Own functional and reliability testing of the Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN): Transit Router route tables, route propagation/policy, cross-account/cross-region attachment, route conflict and convergence behavior at scale.
• Own functional testing of Cloud Express Connect: physical line access, VBR configuration, BGP peering, BFD-based failover, bandwidth/QoS, and end-to-end CPE interconnection validation.
• Own VPC network testing as the foundational layer: subnets/routing, security groups/ACLs, ENI, EIP/NAT, VPC peering, and multi-tenant isolation correctness.
• Validate data-plane forwarding correctness (encapsulation, MTU/fragmentation, ECMP hashing), high-availability failover, and performance/capacity (PPS/BPS, connection rate, control-plane convergence) at scale.
• Build automated test frameworks, integrate into CI pipelines, and drive fault-injection / long-duration stability testing as standard practice.
• Participate in requirement and design reviews from a testability/observability perspective; lead root-cause analysis and closure of production issues.

How you will stand out:

• 8+ years of experience in network testing, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale network operations; Bachelor's degree or above in CS, Communications, or related field.
• Deep understanding of cross-region / hybrid-cloud interconnect products (e.g. Alibaba Cloud CEN/Transit Router, AWS Transit Gateway/Direct Connect, or equivalents).
• Strong expertise in BGP (neighbor states, route attributes, path selection, route policy, convergence) and familiarity with BFD, VRRP, OSPF, and static routing.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN/QinQ, Overlay/tunneling (VXLAN, EVPN, GRE, IPSec), and NAT/conntrack principles.
• Proficient in Linux networking (netns, veth, bridge, bonding, iptables/nftables, tc) and packet-level troubleshooting (tcpdump, Wireshark, ethtool).
• Hands-on experience with traffic generation and test tooling (iperf3, scapy, TRex/DPDK-pktgen, or commercial testers such as Spirent/Ixia).
• Proficient in Python or Go for test automation; experience with pytest/Robot Framework, Git, CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with switches/routers (VLAN, LACP, BGP, BFD configuration) and building physical/virtual test beds.
  Nice-to-have: carrier/IDC dedicated-line delivery background, SDN control-plane testing experience, CCIE/HCIE certification, or AI/GPU cloud networking (RoCE) experience.
