Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a group of Senior Engineers, Engineers, and Associate Engineers to sustain and optimize process capability to meet module goals.
- Establish plans and strategies to meet and surpass manufacturing performance indices.
- Ensure smooth operation of manufacturing by establishing robust processes, maintaining high equipment availability, and implementing clear operating procedures.
- Forecast and budget for test wafers and process-related expenditures.
- Implement work improvement methods or methodologies to reduce defect density and costs, improve throughput or OEE, Cpk, and create robust processes.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to improve yield, quality, and throughput.
- Implement SPC/FMEA/DOE as part of Total Quality Control.
- Spearhead and facilitate continuous improvement through QIT programs to create cost-effective and robust processes.
- Perform appraisals and map career paths for subordinates.
- Provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness.
- Conduct regular feedback and communication sessions with staff for work improvement and to maintain morale.
- Responsible for process installation, monitoring, and capability reporting.
- Oversee recipe management, control, availability, and documentation.
- Participate in Change Meetings.
- Perform Fab audits in own department/area.
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab.
Requirements:
- PhD, MSc, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
- At least 6–10 years of relevant experience in wafer fabrication, with a minimum of 3 years in equipment or development roles.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player with leadership qualities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
