About the opportunity

HJ Staffing is recruiting for a custom manufacturer of industrial HVAC equipment designed for hazardous locations. Production involves small batches and customer-specific builds rather than a traditional assembly line.

Operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce metal components for custom industrial HVAC units. Work involves changing between small-batch orders and maintaining accurate part dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser equipment using approved programs and work instructions.

• Verify material and job requirements before cutting.

• Read drawings and use measuring tools to check completed parts.

• Monitor cut quality and report defects or machine concerns.

• Organize finished parts and follow machine safety procedures.

Required qualifications

• Previous CNC laser operating experience.

• Ability to interpret drawings and measure parts accurately.

• Understanding of safe sheet metal handling and cutting quality.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with varied, small-batch fabrication orders.
