CNC Machinist/Programmer 2nd Shift

We are looking for an experienced machinist to join our team. We have both first and second shift availability and we work 4 days, 10-hour shifts. Oh - and we have a very comfortable air-conditioned plant!

Essential Functions:

• 
  CNC machining operator makes various custom parts from aluminum, steel, and other alloys using fixtures, tools, and processes in place to produce desired parts. Ensure quality of parts produced; makes proper adjustments for equipment settings; takes proper care of all CNC equipment.
• 
  Ensures product produced meets or exceeds customer specifications
• 
  Reviews work orders and follows process specifications to avoid costly errors.
• 
  Select correct program for each job.
• 
  Accurately edit programs to produce good parts.
• Program and setup mills and lathes.
• 
  Load appropriate tooling for each job.
• 
  Keep track of tool wear.
• 
  Follow all safety steps and procedures to ensure safe equipment operation.
• 
  Notify supervisor to resolve process, product, equipment, and production issues.
• 
  Regular attendance is required.
• 
  Any other duties as assigned by management
