Job Summary
MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 3rd Shift at our Savanna, IL manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment, verify product quality, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and support safe, efficient production.
Location: Savanna, IL
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM
Pay: $16.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience
Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium
Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs.
What You'll Do as a CNC Operator
Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
Inspect completed parts and verify they meet established quality requirements.
Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Demonstrated steady work history, including reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous industrial manufacturing experience.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is an on-site manufacturing role involving the operation of CNC equipment, use of basic measuring instruments, and work within established safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements.
