CNC Operator

Boyd Thermal by Eatonis seeking aSecondaryOperatorin ourAllenton,WIlocation.

Primary Function:

The CNC (Secondary) Operator plays a vital role inBoydThermal by Eaton’sSecondaryTeam, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our die-cast manufacturing operations. In this position, you willbe responsible forthe secondary processing of die-cast components, ensuring that they meet our quality standards and production timelines. Key responsibilities include operating secondary machinery, performing quality checks, and collaborating with team members tooptimizethe manufacturing process. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment tomaintaininga safe and efficient work environment. Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset are crucial as you contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing goals.

This position isfor1stshift (7am-3pmor 6a-2p). Position could eventually move to 2nd shift.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Essential Functions:

• Operate all department machinery, including CNCs, Shot Blasters, Drill Presses, Belt Sanders,HotDip Wash Tanks,anddeburring /sanding operationsperpartprocess sheets

• Inspect castings using hand inspection tools,gauges,leak testers, and air gauge equipment per part-specific work instructions. Maintain record of inspections

• Record good and bad piece counts inERPproduction system

• Completeproduction-related documentationaccurately and thoroughly(P-Charts, etc.)

• Maintaina clean and orderly work area

• Adhere toallCompany policiesand proceduresrelated to safety, conduction, and manufacturing practices

• Must support and follow the QMS requirements

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent(GED)

• Ability to effectivelycommunicate with employees at all levels of the organization on a professional level

• Basic reasoning skills and language skills (ability to read,listen,analyze, and interpret general business paperwork)

• Ability toaccuratelycomplete shop paperwork

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouchanduse hands to handle tools, parts, and equipment

• Must have the ability to occasionallylift upto50pounds

• Specific vision abilities arerequiredfor this job and include close and distance vision, color, peripheral vision, and ability to focus

• Previousmanufacturing experience

• Regularly workson the manufacturing floor and near production processes

• May be exposed to noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, chemicals,hazardous materials,and other manufacturing conditions

• Must wear required personal protective equipment

• May work alternate shifts, overtime, weekends, shutdowns, or schedule changes based on production requirements
