We’re looking for an engaging, knowledgeable, and people-focused Coach Trainer who enjoys leading groups, developing others, and helping staff feel confident in their roles.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading Making Waves Coach, Coach Transfer, Parent & Tot, and Head Coach training courses
  • Bringing our program content and Small Steps Teaching Techniques to life
  • Coaching, mentoring, and encouraging candidates and staff
  • Providing clear, constructive feedback
  • Supporting onboarding and staff development
  • Preparing course materials, evaluations, and training records
  • Communicating with candidates, families, Managers, and leadership
  • Helping maintain consistent training standards across all locations
  • Completing observations, evaluations, and quality-assurance checks

Qualifications

  • Current qualifications required for a Making Waves Supervisor
  • Considerable experience as a Coach, Head Coach, and Supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of Making Waves program content and lesson operations
  • Completion of the Train the Trainer program
  • Completion of Coach Trainer course mentorship with a favourable evaluation


Schedule

This is a part-time position. Training courses may take place during daytime, evening, or weekend hours based on business needs.


Flexibility to support training across Making Waves locations may be required.

Primary: People & Learning Manager
Secondary: Director of Operations & Programs, Facility Managers, and Training Manager
