About this role

Reports to: Regional Director of Community Gatherings

Hours Commitment: 40-45 hours/week with regular weekend responsibilities.

Purpose Statement: To lead an LCBC Campus to increasing effectiveness at introducing more and more people to Jesus and helping them to become fully devoted followers.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    Be the Primary Ministry Leader ensuring the location runs smoothly.

  • Strive to grow all areas of engagement
  • Create new and maintain existing community relationships.
  • Executing Community Gathering Core with excellence.
  • Ensure successful distraction free gathering experience.
  • Be the main point person for weekend and midweek experiences.
  • Keep all core processes up to date.
  • Cast vision of LCBC values and encourage key engagements
  • Lead the volunteer team
  • Build and develop strong teams to be the church.
    • Sustain, train, empower, and equip

  • Make sure all ministry environments are scheduled appropriately.
  • Lead the People
  • Move people to take their next step in their relationship to Jesus.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to attendees
    • Attend necessary staff and ministry meetings

    • Duties as assigned by the Location Pastor

    • Lead a healthy life and a healthy team.

    Do Everything You Can To:

    • Support growing the location by at least 10% annually.

    • Have a visible presence of connecting with people in the atrium on the weekends.

    • Learn people's names and stories.

    • Engage emerging young leaders - give them very real responsibilities.
