Command Center Director

Overview

Oversees all departmental health administration needs and requirements as directed by upper management. Manages a medical recordkeeping system including detailed patient health records, ensuring complete confidentiality and records security of patient health data as well as doctor notes and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Directs Directors, Senior Managers, and occasionally senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching feedback.
• Leads area processes for the Command Center unit, and ensures methods align with the overall business strategy.
• Manages the Command Center teams – to include the information security service lines related to threat management including threat intelligence, incident and event configuration, alerting, detection and triaging, investigations, incident response planning and coordination, tabletop exercises, forensics, and critical incident management.
• Identifies process improvement strategies to improve patient flow, system balance and management of surge volumes.
• Oversees HR, compliance and legal investigations requiring information security support, legal holds, and DLP monitoring.
• Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
• Manages operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
• Creates a purpose driven environment by aligning the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being with the strategies and goals of the Command Center team.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

• Masters in Business Administration or equivalent rquired. A BSN, MBA preferred.

Minimum Work Expereince

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful leadership at a manager level or above with atleast 10 years total expereince required.
