Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Construction Intern to join our team for the upcoming term. This position offers hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of commercial building. You will work directly alongside our Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators gaining exposure to both the operational and field execution phases of major construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a student in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals to architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain and organize daily logs, and safety records using project management software (e.g., Procore).

• Shadow the Superintendent on daily site walk-throughs to monitor progress, quality control, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications/Education:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with diverse teams, from field laborers to corporate clients.
• Ability to thrive in both a professional office environment and a fast-paced active construction site.
