What You’ll Do
- Install commercial HVAC equipment and systems according to plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and code.
- Install round and rectangular ductwork, gas lines, condensate lines, and related HVAC components.
- Install and connect controls, wiring, and equipment accessories within the scope of the position.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job requirements.
- Complete commercial HVAC installations from startup through project completion.
- Identify field conditions, installation issues, and material needs and communicate them promptly.
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers.
- Assist with inspections, job documentation, and project closeout.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures.
- Depending on experience, provide direction and support to less-experienced installers.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What We’re Looking For
- Previous HVAC installation experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and installation practices.
- Experience installing ductwork and related components.
- Ability to read and follow plans, drawings, and job requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and reliability.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA 608 certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- HVAC trade school or apprenticeship training.
- Experience leading installers or running portions of commercial HVAC projects.
- Experience working on larger commercial or mechanical-construction projects.
