Experienced Commercial Electrician Ready to Lead?

Morris Heating and Cooling is hiring a Lead Commercial Journeyman Electrician to lead crews and commercial electrical projects throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.

We're looking for an experienced electrician who can take ownership of a job, lead other electricians, troubleshoot problems in the field, and ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.

Kentucky Journeyman Electrician License and frequent regional travel are required.

What You’ll Do

• Lead commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs

• Supervise, mentor, and train electricians and electrical technicians

• Manage daily job-site operations, productivity, quality, and safety

• Install and troubleshoot commercial wiring, lighting, panels, circuit breakers, and electrical systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

• Diagnose electrical problems and perform testing

• Ensure work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety requirements

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and other trades

• Keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule

• Complete required project documentation and reports

• Travel regularly throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience in a supervisory or leadership role

• Valid Kentucky Journeyman Electrician License

• Proven experience leading electrical crews and commercial projects

• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair

• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems independently

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Commitment to quality workmanship and job-site safety

• Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana
