Hiring Unit:
Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures

The German Studies program, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Montréal, is organizing an exhibit on Gottfried Fuchs. The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures a has the opportunity to host the exhibit for a two-week period in Fall 2026 and is seeking a Communications Assistant A for this exhibit.

Position Summary:
• Help produce promotional materials

• Communicate with guests/partners on very specific tasks that the supervisor delegates them

• Transport the posters to and from McGill

• Help hang up and take down posters

• Organize refreshments and other small things for the reception

• Other light tasks

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
• Speak German (at least at an intermediate level)

This position is covered by the AMUSE Collective Agreement.
