Communications Coordinator / Content Creator
At Te Puawaitanga ki Ōtautahi Trust, we’re looking for a Communications Coordinator / Content Creator who can bring our kaupapa to life through clear, engaging, and meaningful storytelling. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help ensure our whaiora, whānau, and hapori stay connected, informed, and inspired.
You’ll play a key part in how we share our stories internally across our kaimahi and externally with the hapori we serve making sure our communications are timely, relevant, and grounded in our values.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Create and deliver engaging communications across channels including email, intranet, social media, and community platforms
- Support the planning and delivery of communication plans and campaigns that align with our kaupapa
- Create a wide range of content from short updates to longer stories that reflect our impact
- Coordinate internal communications to keep kaimahi informed, connected, and aligned
- Support the delivery of key updates, events, and organisational announcements
- Work alongside teams across the Trust to capture and share stories from our whaiora and hapori
- Monitor engagement and look for ways to continuously improve how we communicate
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a communications, marketing, or coordination role
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately for different audiences
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease
- Confidence building relationships and working with people at all levels
- A proactive, positive approach and strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (intranet, email systems, social media, etc.)
- An understanding of or connection to kaupapa Māori, and a genuine desire to work in a kaupapa-driven organisation
