As Malt is growing and scaling we are looking for motivated individuals to join our Global Community team. The Community team's mission is to attract and activate most high value freelancers, engage them in the community, be responsible for their experience, and contribute to the growth of the company. As a Community builder Spain, your mission is to drive platform adoption and foster community loyalty by connecting with key local freelancers. You will act as the bridge between our global strategy and the Spanish market, executing engaging programs and locally relevant events to generate business value.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Strategic Community Architect: Take full ownership of building and scaling local freelance ecosystems; you will identify, personally nurture, and spotlight our most strategic members (AI, SAP, Cybersecutity) to transform them into a powerful network of elite brand advocates.
  • Local Market Vision: Use your deep local expertise to design and execute a bespoke strategy, creating high-value content (newsletter & article) and "must-attend" events that resonate perfectly with the unique culture and needs of the Spanish community.
  • Business & Global Orchestrator: Act as the vital bridge between global vision and local execution; you will work hand-in-hand with global teams to adapt global programs (AI, Ambassadors, referral program) into high-impact local action plans.
  • Autonomous Growth Driver: As a business-driven proactive contributor, you will manage your perimeter with total autonomy, proactively connecting with Sales teams to ensure community engagement directly fuels our local business success
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • Background & Expertise: Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications with 3+ years of experience in Community Management, Event Management, or CRM.
  • Business Driven: You act with a growth mindset, ensuring all community initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Project Management Mastery: You possess high-level expertise in end-to-end project management, from conceptualizing large-scale events to executing complex communication plans.
  • Ownership & Proactivity: You are a highly organized self-starter who works in total autonomy, taking full responsibility for your perimeter while acting as a force of proposition to innovate and suggest strategic improvements.
  • Freelancer Relations: You have a deep sense of service and a natural talent for building strong, professional relationships with freelancers, acting as their dedicated partner.
  • Communication Skills: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives across various channels.
  • Languages: Native-level Spanish and professional fluency in English are mandatory; proficiency in French is a significant advantage.

  • Interview with Lena, the Hiring Manager, to get to know you better, discuss your experience in more detail, and dive deeper into the role and the team. (45 minutes)
  • Business case with Lena and Melanie Laprée, designed to assess your problem-solving approach, customer success mindset, and presentation skills. (1 hour)
  • On-site interview at our Madrid office, where you'll have the opportunity to meet part of the team, get a feel for our culture, and get to know us better in person.
  • Final interview with a C-level executive to discuss Malt's long-term vision and how you can contribute to our future growth.
