About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Events Manager to join our team at Mill Farm Sports Village. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse range of events across the venue, ensuring every event is executed to the highest standard.
Working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal departments, you will oversee all aspects of event delivery, from initial planning through to post-event evaluation. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage a variety of events across the venue.
Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
Develop event schedules and operational plans to ensure successful delivery.
Coordinate with internal departments to meet event requirements.
Manage external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective event delivery.
Ensure all events comply with relevant health and safety standards.
Resolve any issues that arise before, during, or after events.
Conduct post-event reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in an events management role.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
