About this role
Your mission
- Own and continuously improve Configuration & Change Management processes across development, production, and service.
- Manage product baselines, BOMs, CAD data, software releases, and documentation within PLM/PDM/ERP systems.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO), Change Control Boards (CCB), and implementation activities.
- Ensure complete configuration traceability, version control, and accurate configuration status reporting.
- Support configuration audits (FCA/PCA) and ensure compliance with aerospace standards and certification requirements (e.g. AS9100, EASA).
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Certification, and Service teams to implement configuration changes consistently.
- Drive AI-enabled Configuration Management by introducing intelligent tools for impact analysis, document management, reporting, and data quality.
- Define Configuration Management processes, provide training, and promote best practices across the organization.
- Administer the PLM platform, including user, license, access, supplier, and community management, as well as first-level support.
Your profile
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience as Configuration Manager and with PLM/PDM and ERP systems in a fast paced, complex systems' environment.
- Strong knowledge of BOM and document management.
- Training/certification as Configuration Manager, e.g. CM2, familiarity with aerospace configuration standards.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AI, ideally in setting-up AI agents to optimize the work environment.
