Your New Role

Howerton Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has served the Dayton area for decades and is part of a growing multi-location home services company.

Our construction division is busy, with a full schedule of projects alongside established general contractors. We're investing in our team, tools and systems, and we're looking for experienced plumbers who want to grow with us.

What You’ll Do

• Install plumbing systems for new construction and build-outs

• Perform underground, rough-in, top-out, and trim plumbing

• Read and work from blueprints and construction plans

• Install water lines, waste and vent piping, fixtures, water heaters, and gas piping

• Prepare plumbing work for inspections

• Work alongside general contractors and other trades

• Help keep projects on schedule and completed to quality standards

• Troubleshoot installation issues in the field

• Mentor apprentices and less-experienced plumbers when needed

• Maintain a clean and safe job site

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of plumbing experience, preferably in new construction

• Strong rough-in and construction plumbing experience

• Ability to read blueprints and work independently

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Reliable and committed to quality workmanship

• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams

Preferred

• Commercial construction plumbing experience

• Journeyman plumbing license

• Gas piping experience

• Experience leading crews or mentoring apprentices

• Ohio Master or Journeyman plumbing credentials
