THE POSITION:


The Construction Security Program Manager is responsible for the physical security of STACK’s North American construction projects. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in security practices and management, tactically implementing best practices at data center construction sites. The Construction Security Program Manager is responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with security requirements. This candidate must be comfortable identifying potential security gaps and recommending remediation solutions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Construction Security Management

  • Develop and implement site-specific construction security postures that align with corporate standards and adapt to evolving threats.
  • Identify risks and implement layered security solutions on STACK development sites including fencing, access control, guard services, and surveillance technologies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Security, Property Management, Development, Construction and other business units.

Vendor Selection & Management

  • Partner with the assigned General Contractor on RFPs, evaluations, and onboarding for security integrators and guard services.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely mobilization of physical security services such as guard forces and perimeter surveillance.

Construction & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with general contractors and project managers to integrate security requirements into construction plans and schedules. Oversee the coordination with construction teams to ensure timely deployment of security infrastructure (access control, surveillance, fencing, etc.).

Risk Mitigation & Compliance

  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents, implement corrective actions, and document lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with regional regulations, client requirements, and industry best practices for physical security in construction environments.
  • Continuously monitor and improve security programs through audits, testing, and post-project evaluation

Security Standards & Basis of Design (BOD) Compliance

  • Implement and enforce security standards defined in STACK’s Basis of Design (BOD) to ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Hold security integrators accountable for adhering to BOD standards during installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
  • Partner with security design consultants to validate that BOD requirements are fully incorporated into construction drawings and specifications.

Design Reviews & Commissioning Oversight

  • Participate in physical security design review calls to ensure new site drawing sets reflect BOD security standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and security design consultants to identify gaps and enforce corrections early in the design process.
  • Support commissioning walks to verify security drawings have been executed accurately and that systems meet design intent.
  • Ensure seamless handoff of as-built security documentation to operations and ongoing security teams


THE DETAILS:


  • Location: Shreveport, Louisiana
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 5 years of experience in security management preferred
  • 2 years of experience in construction projects preferred
  • Subject matter expertise in physical security processes and technologies
  • Experience conducting inspections to identify security risks
  • Experience investigating and documenting root cause analysis of issues
  • Data center or construction site security experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
  • Experience working with external security services firms
