We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our client in Plymouth, Devon. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start and involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert psychiatric care to adult patients within a community mental health setting
• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act (MHA) and clinical governance standards
• Participate in case reviews, clinical audits, and service improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Proven experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
• Previous experience in a Consultant role within the NHS
