Consultant / Specialist - Neurologist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Consultant / Specialist – Neurologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care, diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders.
• Conduct neurological assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Interpret neurological investigations such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, and other diagnostic tests.
• Manage acute neurological emergencies and provide timely interventions.
• Collaborate with other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education activities.
• Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff when required.

Requirements

• Medical degree with a recognized specialization in Neurology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialty experience.
• Strong clinical expertise in diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
