Contract Administrator

As part of the team, we are seeking a Contract Manager to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial and contractual management of all Superstructure and Precast packages. Manage procurement strategy, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award of major subcontract packages.

• Administer subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assess variations, claims, extensions of time, and commercial risks.

• Monitor subcontractor performance against cost, programme, quality, and contractual obligations. Lead commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Develop and maintain package budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.

• Support monthly internal and client reporting requirements.

• Identify and implement commercial opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.

• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project controls teams to manage package delivery.

• Support the resolution of disputes and contractual issues.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related discipline.

• 8–15 years' experience in contract administration and commercial management.

• Previous experience managing major structural, precast, or concrete packages on large infrastructure or building projects.

• Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and contract management.

• Experience with claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.

• Knowledge of Australian construction contracts.

• Experience in Joint Venture environments is desirable.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
