Contract Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join our team. Candidate will work as a contract support analyst to a US Army government project office. This position will involve assisting in the development and coordination of Contracts Requirements Packages (CRP), assisting senior management with contracting strategy development and working with the customer through numerous contracting activities in parallel in a dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration or management or financial field is required.

• U.S. citizenship.
• Must be a resident in the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  

Required Skills/Experience:

• Candidates with 3 to 10 yrs of applicable contracting-type experiences through DoD programs are desired
• Independent thinker and self starter is important, with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task and support varied assignments.
• Good communication skills are important, with a positive and friendly demeanor.
