Role Overview

You will own the accounting engine for Moon and its sister company: accurate close, clean AP/AR, payroll operations, and multi-entity discipline - on a modern stack, built audit-ready from the start.

About the role

•You will join reporting to the VP of Finance as the second member of a deliberately lean finance team supporting a large, multi-entity operation.

What you'll do

•Own monthly close, AP/AR, and payroll operations across entities.

•Run intercompany and platform billing cleanly across related entities.

•Build audit-ready processes and controls supporting SOC 2 and future diligence.

•Automate relentlessly on Ramp + QuickBooks, and help lead an eventual NetSuite migration.

Qualifications

•6+ years of accounting experience including controller or assistant-controller scope.

•Multi-entity experience required; CPA strongly preferred.

•Modern tooling fluency; drives automation to eliminate manual work.

•Startup pace: closes fast, documents well, escalates early.
