Risk Advisory – Controls Integration Consulting Manager

Location:

• Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
• Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
• Travel Expectations: 20-40%

What you'll do

• Lead controls integration engagements, where we help our clientsleveragetheir investment in technology to betterrespond to compliance risks and regulatory needs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to address complexcompliancechallenges. 

• Lead and oversee client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes within scope, timeline, and budget.

• Identify and assist in pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and supporting pursuitsto secure engagements.

• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Provide insights and guidance on industry best practices, emerging trends, andstaying current on the latest findings and developmentsfrom relevant regulators.

• Optimize internal processes, tools, and methodologies to improve service delivery and team productivity.

• Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improveourclients’control environments. Leverage AIcapabilities, adoption strategies, and best practices for effectivecontrol/complianceimplementations.

• Develop executive-level presentations to communicate complex issues and recommendations across processes, systems, and people.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field of study.

• 6+ years ofcontrolsintegration,auditand compliance experience. Focus will be on supporting the development anddeployment ofinternal controls duringtheimplementationofmajor ERP (SAP, Oracle, D365) technologies and 3^rdparty finance applications.

• Technical/configuration knowledge, especially for coreFinancialbusinessprocesses, within the major ERP’s.

• 1+ yearsof peoplemanagement experience.

• Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies and the ability to incorporate AI intodailywork and client execution.

• Willingness to continually take on challenging projects with new or ambiguous subject matter,

• Strong project management experience, including: workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communicating with clients. 

• Excellent written and verbal communicationskills;clearly convey complex business concepts toexecutiveaudience free of grammatical errors, incorporating leading practices for business writing.

• Strong leadership skills and executive presence.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Significantnumberof deployments of major ERPsystemswhere you supported and led the integration of controlsprior togo-live.

• Experience with GRC platforms that support segregation of duties, sensitive access and user provisioning and deprovisioningfor ERP systems.

• Foundational understanding ofrole security and authorization concepts used by ERP systems.

The compensation range for this position is $120,000-$156,000 USD. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program.
