Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (No weekend shifts)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cook to join our healthcare culinary team in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, you will prepare, cook, and serve high-quality, nutritious meals for our patients, staff, and visitors while strictly adhering to healthcare safety and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, season, cook, and serve delicious food options for patients, visitors, and staff with high standards for taste, presentation, and dietary requirements.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards established by the Department of Health, AHCA, The Joint Commission, and company guidelines.
• Administrative & Kitchen Tasks: Perform routine dietary administrative duties, kitchen maintenance, and equipment cleaning as required.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to patients and staff by actively listening, answering dietary questions, and accommodating special meal requests whenever possible.
• Team Leadership & Communication: Assist in guiding and effectively communicating with foodservice staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations and service excellence.
• Professionalism: Maintain a positive attitude, manage working relationships respectfully, and contribute to a healthy, optimistic team environment.
• Reliability: Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of commercial food service or healthcare culinary experience.
• Culinary Knowledge: Solid understanding of food preparation techniques, portion control, and kitchen safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience using standard commercial kitchen tools and cleaning equipment.
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered mindset.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation and a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
